Fables Galleries is Auckland’s oldest retailer of Persian rugs, and the only Member of the New Zealand Antique Dealers Association specialising in this field.

Centrally located Fables offers a unique blend of antique and decorative oriental rugs, housed in an historic and spectacular space.

The gallery is in the historic Cane and Metal Workshops - a facility built in 1924 for blind returned servicemen - and part of the Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind complex in Parnell.

Antique rugs and textiles - Persian, Turkish, Caucasian, Turkoman and European pieces
Contemporary decorative rugs and carpets
